MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — If you are in the market for a wedding gown, there’s a way to purchase one, and help out a good cause as well.
It’s called Brides Against Breast Cancer and the dresses are being sold at a discount, at the Millennium Hotel in Minneapolis.
“Every gown we sell, 80 cents on the dollar, goes back to provide free support for those dealing with cancer,” organizer Kelsey Anderson said.
Brides Against Breast Cancer is traveling the nation on a 120-city tour.
In the 15 years the event has been running, it has raised more than $2 million for the cancer support.
