MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota basketball coach Richard Pitino has filled out his first recruiting class.

The Golden Gophers announced on Wednesday that three players have signed national letters of intent to play for Minnesota next season. They are Washington forward Josh Martin, Georgia guard Nate Mason and Carlos Morris, a guard transferring from junior college.

The 6-foot-8 Martin averaged 11.8 points and 8.2 rebounds as a junior at Bothell High School last season. He chose the Gophers over Pittsburgh and Florida State.

Mason is a 6-1 guard from Decatur who plays at Arlington Country Day High School in Jacksonville, Fla. He chose the Gophers over Kansas State and Virginia.

Morris is a 6-5 guard transferring from Chipola College in his native Florida. He averaged 13.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game last season.
