Pedestrian Hit & Killed In Sauk Rapids
SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. (WCCO) - A pedestrian was struck and killed by a motorist Saturday evening in Sauk Rapids, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The fatal accident happened at 5:36 p.m. on Highway 10 near County Road 13, when a 1990 Buick Century driven by Angela Lott, 37, left the southbound lane, hitting and killing the pedestrian.
Lott, from Sauk Rapids, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Sauk Rapids and Sartell police departments, and the Benton County Sheriff's office.
