Authorities: Man Pinned By ATV Trying To Corral Loose Cattle

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office says a 53-year-old man needed to be airlifted to a hospital after he was pinned underneath his ATV Wednesday morning.

At 11:16 a.m., the Sheriff’s Department was notified of the ATV accident at N8715 250th Street in Gilman Township.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the victim, identified as Russell Steele, was trying dealing with some loose cattle at his residence when he rolled over his ATV and was pinned underneath.

Russell was then airlifted to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
