MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It’s hard to think about baseball with snow on the ground and temperatures below zero, but the Minnesota Twins announced Tuesday that tickets for the first TwinsFest at Target Field will go on sale tomorrow.
Twins officials said tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday. TwinsFest will be from Jan. 24 to Jan. 26, 2014. There will be events and promotions for the event in the Metropolitan Club, the Legends Club, the Champions Club and the Town Ball Tavern among several other indoor locations at the stadium.
There will be more than 50 former, current and future Twins players on hand at this year’s event. New features for fans include boardwalk-style games, panel discussions, clubhouse tours, a walking tour of the ballpark and a feature on Target Field hosting the 2014 All-Star Game.
Tickets can be purchased for TwinsFest on the Minnesota Twins web site or by calling (612) 33-TWINS or (800) 33-TWINS. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids 14 and under.
