Third Child Dies After Western Wis. Crash

PRESCOTT, Wis. (WCCO) - A third child has died after a car accident in western Wisconsin.

The deadly crash happened Thursday near Prescott, Wis. in Oak Grove Township.

Kari Milberg, 32, was driving when the vehicle somehow spun into the path of an oncoming truck.

Her 11-year-old daughter and 5-year-old niece were killed in the accident.

According to Milberg's CaringBridge site, another niece of Milberg's died on Saturday.

Milberg is still in critical condition. Her young son survived and is recovering.

Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the accident.
