MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials at the University of Minnesota issued a crime alert Monday after a student was robbed at gun point on Sunday.

According to University Police, the student says a man pulled out a gun and demanded their laptop computer at the Carlson School of Management, which is on the West Bank Campus.

The student yelled for help and started chasing the robber, who ended up dropping the laptop during the chase.

Investigators say the robber had silver caps on his bottom front teeth. His lookout had a boot walking cast on his foot.

Police say they have surveillance footage of the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call University Police.
