Here are some ideas as we are Working for the Weekend.

Chanhassen Dinner Theater: Andy Williams Christmas Special

To get into the holiday spirit, the Andy Williams Christmas Specials at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater brgins you “Home for the Holidays.” It’s a nostalgic look back at some of the greatest Christmas specials ever made. Complete with four hosts, a band, a Christmas tree that needs a little decorating, and a fireplace. This show runs all weekend.

North Stars Skate School – Aldrich Arena

Lace up your skates Sunday and hit the ice with the man in the big red suit. Join the North Stars Skate School and Ramsey County Parks and Recreation for a special open skate event at Aldrich Arena in Maplewood.

In addition to skating with everyone’s favorite resident of the North Pole, there will be treats and games on the ice to enjoy.  Skate rental will be available for the discounted rate of $2 per person.

Holidazzle Parade – Downtown Minneapolis

And you’re not going to want to miss this one. Your favorite morning show crew from WCCO, including Jason DeRusha, Jamie Yuccas, Mike Augustyniak and Natalie Nyhus, will be the Holidazzle Grand Marshals Friday night. Join us Friday at 6:30 p.m. on Nicollet Mall between 12th and 4th streets. We’ll get you in the holiday spirit.
