30 Hours Of Bell Ringing Pays Off For Hudson Duo

HUDSON, Wis (WCCO) - Derek Lilyquist and Jeremy Gilbert spent 30 hours ringing bells for the Salvation Army in front of the County Market in Hudson, Wis.

Their goal was to raise $50,000 for a homeless shelter in nearby New Richmond.

Friday night, about an hour before the end of their marathon, Lilyquist and Gilbert topped their goal, raising nearly $52,000.

They even still had a little time left on the clock.
