MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – For 40 years, it’s been a hidden gem of the south suburbs. It’s a French restaurant inside a hotel, and Jason DeRusha went to check out Colette Bistro and Bar in Bloomington for his weekly segment DeRusha Eats.
The chef is imported from Paris nearly 10 years ago and he now runs the restaurant inside the Bloomington Sheraton Hotel. Colette Bistro and Bar has been around for 40 years. It used to be Sofitel, but it’s more than just a hotel restaurant.
The chef said they get about a 50/50 split of customers from the hotel and people from the outside. The kitchen specializes in French classics.
