Bemidji Man Killed In Snowmobile Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 23-year-old Bemidji man is dead after crashing his snowmobile on the east side of Lake Bemidiji Saturday, according to police.
Bemidji Police say the crash was reported at 4:46 a.m. along the roadside of the 4900 block of Sherman Dr. NE.
The victim, identified as Seth Ryan, struck a mailbox, telephone pedestal and several trees before coming to rest in the north ditch of Sherman Dr. NE, authorities said. He was riding solo.
Despite life-saving measures taken by emergency responders, Ryan was pronounced dead at the scene.
