ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — It may be bitterly cold outside, but fans of the outdoors can start dreaming of summer at the 44th annual Minnesota Sportsmen’s Show.

The event opens Thursday, Jan. 9, and runs through Sunday, Jan. 12, at the St. Paul RiverCentre.

Boats, recreational vehicles and resorts all will be featured. Seminars include how to get your dog professionally trained, tips for catching walleye in the metro area and secrets to harvesting trophy bucks.

Admission is $9 for adults, $2.50 for children ages 6 to 12. Children 5 and under are admitted free.
