MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – As we get ready for the weekend, we want to help you get ready too. From tattoos to winter trails, these events are worth adding to your social calendar for the next few days.

Minnesota Sportsmen’s Show
Cabin fever got you down? Get out to the Rivercentre in St. Paul for the Sportsmen’s Boat, Camping & Vacation Show. You’ll see hundreds of boats, RVs, fishing gear and camping equipment. If you go, don’t miss the live trout pond and the wildlife show with real foxes, cougars and wolves.

Minneapolis Tattoo Arts Convention
Debating getting a tattoo, or adding to what you already have? Go to the Minneapolis Tattoo Arts Convention Friday through Sunday. A select group of incredibly skilled tattoo artists will be in one place where thousands of people can appreciate the artists’ work and maybe get some ink of their own. The Minneapolis Tattoo Arts Convention is at the Hyatt in downtown Minneapolis.

Winter Trails Day
With the weather warming up, now’s the chance to get out on the trails. Saturday is Winter Trails Day, a national event that offers those new to snow sports and opportunity to try things like snowshoeing and cross country skiing for free. Fort Snelling Park hosts the event that is great for kids, too.
