MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 24-year-old Arkansas woman died Thursday in a rollover crash in northern Minnesota, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Authorities responded to the crash at about 1:48 p.m. on Highway 2 west of Bemidji. When they arrived, a 2002 Chevrolet SK1 was headed eastbound on Highway 2 when it lost control on the ice, went off the road and rolled. There were two people in the car at the time of the accident, and the passenger was killed.

The Minnesota State Patrol identified the victim as Victoria L. Preller of Bald Knob, Ark. The condition of the driver, a 36-year-old also from Arkansas, was not documented.

The State Patrol said the crash is still under investigation with assistance from the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office.
