ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – Police are looking for a suspect after a hit-and-run crash left one person injured early Saturday morning in St. Cloud.

Authorities responded to the crash at about 12:49 a.m. near the area of 9th Avenue and 13th Street in St. Cloud. When police got to the scene, the victim’s vehicle was hit by a late 80s or early 90s silver Ford Crown Victoria. The suspect vehicle then fled the scene.

Police said the vehicle should have front-end damage, the front hood of the car won’t fully close and the driver’s side tail light is out. The victim, a 32-year-old man, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities said what led up to the crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call St. Cloud Police at (320) 251-1200.
