HGTV, DIY Network Shows Casting In Twin Cities

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A Minneapolis-based television production company is casting for a new season of the renovation series "I Hate My Kitchen."

The series airs on HGTV and DIY Network.

The series is filmed in and around the Twin Cities and features creative, affordable ways to renovate kitchens. Licensed contractor James Young hosts the show.

Filming for the eighth season is set to begin at the end of January.

Magnetic Productions says it is looking for "energetic homeowners" who are willing to appear on the show and are interested in receiving a full renovation at little or no cost.

Magnetic also produces shows such as "Rehab Addict," ''Renovate to Rent," ''I Hate My Bath" and the new Food Network series, "Buy This Restaurant."
