MINNETONKA, Minn. (WCCO) – Throughout the month of February, DeRusha Eats is taking it to the suburbs.
This week in DeRusha Eats, we take you to a Minnetonka restaurant to check out the signature dishes of the Gold Nugget. It’s a restaurant with a long history that has been reborn. The head chef at the Gold Nugget said they go through 1,000 pounds of their 80/20 ground beef per week. Their burgers are what keep patrons coming back.
The Gold Nugget is a burger joint and has been since 1979. The original restaurant closed in 2007 and was re-launched.
They have more than a dozen burgers on the menu and 22 beers on tap.
