Getting Married? How To Pick The Perfect Wedding Dress

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Love is in the air as Valentine's Day is just around the corner. A recent study shows about 40 percent of engagements happen between the holidays and Valentine's Day.

And when you get engaged and start wedding planning, one of the most important parts for a bride is finding that perfect wedding dress. Sarah Baumann, the editor in chief of Minnesota Bride Magazine, stopped by the WCCO Saturday Morning show to talk wedding dress shopping and some of the current trends.

Baumann said the red carpet can affect dress shopping trends as we see them on TV and in magazines. The four current trends include the cap sleeve dress, the peplum dress, the lace dress and the mermaid dress.
