ST. PAUL (WCCO) — Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck near the intersection of Hazelwood Street and Maryland Avenue East in St. Paul Sunday afternoon.

According to St. Paul Police, after the woman was struck, she was taken to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Sgt. Paul Paulos says the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with police and there is no indication the driver was impaired by drugs or alcohol. Police continue to investigate.

No further details have been released.
