Juvenile Shot In North Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minneapolis Police say a boy was shot while walking down a north Minneapolis street early Wednesday evening.

Police spokesman John Elder says the boy was walking on North Lowry and Logan avenues around 6 p.m. when he heard gunshots, and soon realized he had been shot.

The boy sought help nearby and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.
