MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police have identified the man who was found shot to death inside a north Minneapolis home early Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to the 2000 block of North Hillside Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. on a report of a shooting. When they got to the scene, they found an adult male dead inside the residence.

Police said they did not believe the incident was random.

On Friday, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 32-year-old Johnathon Harris of Minneapolis. It was determined his death was a homicide, and he died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Minneapolis Police at (612) 692-8477.
