Homemade Margarita Mix From Masa


One quart (32 ounces) of mix.

Eleven ounces of fresh-squeezed lime juice (fresh squeezed is key).

Eight ounces of simple syrup (combine equal parts sugar and water, bring to a boil and let cool).

Thirteen ounces of water.


1) Combine the lime juice, simple syrup.

2) Add 13 ounces of water.

*If the mix is too sweet, more lime juice can be added; if too tart, more simple syrup will reduce tartness.

*This makes about 9-10 margaritas.

*Keep refrigerated.
