MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — With temperatures in the low teens, it seems winter is dragging on forever. But some people are already planning to watch “The Boys of Summer.”
Single-game tickets went on sale Saturday for the Minnesota Twins, and a good amount of fans braved the cold to wait at Target Field’s box office for tickets.
Lucia Hudy didn’t mind shivering in order to get her hands on some good seats.
“It was cold but it was worth every minute,” Hudy said. “I’m going to be sitting at the Twins games in April, May, June, July, August and September.”
The most popular game was the home opener against the Oakland Athletics on Monday, April 7. The series against Milwaukee and the Yankees were also big tickets.
