ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) — President Barack Obama will be visiting St. Paul’s recently-renovated Union Depot on Wednesday, and people had a chance Monday to get tickets.
The president is expected to announce a new competition to create jobs and restore infrastructure.
Jill Martin from Roseville came to the Union Depot on Monday to get tickets, and says it’s a perfect location for the president’s visit.
“Some of the money from the stimulus helped build this, so I think it’s a good location for him to see what that money did for Minnesota and the Union Depot,” Martin said.
President Obama is expected to speak around 2 p.m. on Wednesday. WCCO will carry this event live, and you can also stream it live on WCCO.com.
