MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Eden Prairie Police are investigating after two victims were assaulted and robbed about an hour apart.

In the first incident, officers responded to a 911 call around 5:50 p.m. Sunday to the Life Time Fitness at 6233 Baker Road. The victim said he was approached by two men who assaulted and robbed him in the locker room of the gym.

About an hour later, police received a call regarding a similar incident of an assault and burglary at a residence on the 8000 block of Grier Lane.

In that incident, a man was approached inside the entrance of his home by an unknown man and assaulted.

Both victims were transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment.

Eden Prairie Police received information from witnesses, which led them to two male suspects believed to be involved in both incidents. The two men were arrested on the 11000 block of Westwind Drive and are being held in the Hennepin County Jail.

No other suspects are being sought by police.
