Memorial Service Held For Teen Who Died After Fleeing Party

MINNAPOLIS (WCCO) – Family and friends gathered Saturday to remember 18-year-old Michael Anyasike who died last week after running from a party at a farmhouse in Madison, Minn.

Anyasike’s mother said he likely froze to death because temperatures were in the low twenties.

Anyasike played football for Dawson-Boyd High School.

Earlier this week, his teammates gathered at the church to share stories and memories.

The church dinners are a tradition before big games.
