MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Some high flying times are coming to a local high school theatre.
The Morris Park Players are putting on their spring production of Peter Pan at Edison High School in northeast Minneapolis. Chuck Dibble with the Morris Park Players said the group has been around for more than 60 years.
They started in 1952 as the Morris Park Father Singers at Morris Park Elementary School in south Minneapolis. He said they are the longest running continuing community theatre.
They’ve done more than 100 productions, which includes the upcoming production of “Peter Pan” at Edison High School in March and April. Dibble said 117 people auditioned for roles in this production.
