MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Benton County Sheriff’s office says a missing Foley man, whose body was found Tuesday, was a victim of homicidal violence.

Jamie Wylie, 31, was found Tuesday on the side of County Road 75 between East Germain Street and Mayhew Lake Road, just east of St. Cloud.

Wylie was last heard from in a cell phone call on Dec. 9, 2013, after he left a friend’s home in St. Cloud. His wife and friends described him as being upset when he left that evening.

The Midwest Medical Examiner’s office ruled Wylie’s death a homicide on Wednesday.

The Benton County Sheriff’s office and the Tri-County Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in the investigation of Wylie’s homicide. Call the sheriff’s office at 320-986-7201 or Crime Stoppers at 800-255-1301.
