MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The National Weather Service’s office in Sioux Falls, S. D., has posted a video of the tornado that damaged rural farms Monday in western Minnesota.

In a YouTube post Tuesday, weather officials said the video of the EF-0 tornado was provided by the Lyon County Office of Emergency Management.

The video is taken from the point of view of a moving car. It shows the funnel cloud moving over a rural landscape near St. Leo, Minn.

On Monday, officials in Yellow Medicine County reported that a tornado touched down just east of St. Leo and damaged at least three farm sites.

Bree Wignes Anderson, who lives near Minneota, Minn., also posted video of the tornado on her Facebook page. Minneota is about 13 miles southeast of St. Leo.

No one was reported injured.
