What Do You Like To Do In Warm Weather?

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It's a safe bet that many people will find any way they can to get outside on Wednesday.

It'll be windy, but our high temperatures forecasted to be in the 70s will be the warmest weather in Minnesota in six months. After a brutal winter filled with snow and bitterly cold wind chills, it's finally time to get outside and soak in the sun.

That prompted the WCCO This Morning team to share their favorite outdoor activities and ask viewers via Facebook what they plan to do in this warm weather. The answers are pretty much exactly what would be expected when you're stuck inside for several months.

Margaret Peterson said she will be grilling out. For Bonnie Thompson, it's all about riding motorcycles. Adam Riess in Buffalo said he'll be taking his dog out for some exercise.

There's also a good chance that many golfers will be out Wednesday despite the windy conditions. Several courses around the Twin Cities will be opening Wednesday, including Highland National in St. Paul. Phalen Golf Course in St. Paul will have its driving range open Wednesday and the course is expected to open Thursday.

The bottom line is it's time to put away our hats, gloves, coats and boots and swap them from T-shirts, sunglasses and flip flops.
