ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – There were no serious injuries but a St. Paul auto body shop suffered significant damage in a fire early Thursday morning.

Crews were called to Milan’s Motors on the 700 block of University Avenue West at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday. When they arrived, there were no flames showing but heavy smoke was coming from the building. Authorities said nobody was inside at the time of the fire.

Fire officials said the cause is under investigation.
