MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The owner of a massage and skin care business in Lino Lakes, Minn., was charged Friday for allegedly making fraudulent charges on her customers’ accounts.

Stephanie Rae Lasch, owner of Stone Water Massage & Skin Care, was charged with felony identity theft.

According to Lino Lakes Police, officers arrested Lasch around 7:15 a.m. Thursday while she was boarding a plane to Beijing at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Investigators say at least 78 victims have been identified, and 140 more people claim they were victims of other civil-related matters involved Lasch.

The Lino Lakes Police Department has been in contact with the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota in regards to the complaints.
