MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman’s home was burglarized during her husband’s funeral Wednesday afternoon.

At 3:29 p.m., deputies responded to the burglary at 5511 57th Street Southeast in Franklin Township. The homeowner, Anne Crowley, discovered the burglary after returning from the funeral of her husband, Steven Crowley, who died in a head-on collision last week.

The burglary could have occurred anywhere between 10:30 a.m. and 2:25 p.m. The exact loss is undetermined at this time.

Authorities say the possible suspect vehicle is described as an older charcoal grey Suburban-style truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 763-682-1162.
