ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – The Minnesota Wild took on the Colorado Avalanche at the Xcel Energy Center for Game 3 of the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs Monday night.

The Wild scored in overtime to beat the Avalanche 1 – 0, but fans were cheering long before the game started.

Many fans congregated around the Xcel Energy Center hoping their cheers would lead the team to victory.
