Brookings Blizzard Coach Leaving For Hamline Job

BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) — Brookings Blizzard head coach Cory Laylin has accepted the head coaching position at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn.

Laylin has been head coach of the North American Hockey League team in South Dakota the past two seasons. At Hamline he takes over for Doc Delcastillo, who left at the end of last season after two years with the NCAA Division III program.

Laylin is a native of St. Cloud, Minn., who played at the University of Minnesota from 1988 to 1992.
