Glam Doll Donuts Earns National Props

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- You don't need to hit up the coasts or fall victim to the dreaded "Cronut" craze to have some of the best breakfast pastries in the country. Just head over to Eat Street in Minneapolis.

The website Thrillist has named Glam Doll Donuts in Minneapolis one of the best in the U.S. The shop makes all of its doughs, fillings and toppings from scratch.

Thrillist says the best eats are the "Calendar Girl," which is a salted caramel and chocolate doughnut, and the "Chart Topper," made with peanut butter and Sriracha.

And the accolades don't end there. Huffington Post also named Glam Doll as one of its favorite doughnut shops.

The company earned some viral recognition for the donuts they served up in honor of Miley Cyrus when she played the Xcel Energy Center earlier this year.
