MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A Hanover family is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing mobility assist dog.

According to the organization Can Do Canines, a black Labrador retriever named Geena went missing from the Pinor family’s home Tuesday night at about 7:30 p.m.

Geena helps 17-year-old high school senior Tyler Pinor, who has cerebral palsy.

She is 3 years old and weighs approximately 50 pounds. She is not wearing her red service dog cape or collar.

If you find Geena, call 763-477-7006. For more information, call Paul Schwarzkopf of Can Do Canines at 763-331-3000 (ext. 161).
