MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A police chase ended with a vehicle crashing into someone’s yard in St. Anthony, according to authorities.

Around 3 a.m. Sunday morning, a car crashed into a home on the 1600 block of Grotto Street North in St. Paul.

The crash also caused a tree in the yard to fall on top of the car.

The driver of the car was arrested and was not seriously injured.

Authorities say there was no one at home at the time of the crash, as the homeowners were out of town.

St. Paul Police said the police chase started in St. Anthony but could not give details on why it started.

St. Anthony Police will continue to investigate.
