Local Music Tap: Vaudeville CD Release @ First Ave

Minneapolis-based Vaudeville, an alternative rock band on the rise, is celebrating the release of its newest album with a performance at First Avenue's Mainroom this weekend.

Just like its name implies, Vaudeville is a band that brings together a variety of different sounds, with its end product a sort of raw, epic rock infused with electronic elements.

Now, with two albums already out, their third and newest album, Masquerade I, is on the market – featuring a variety of tracks that range from heavy guitar electronic-rock to slower, more ballad-like acoustic tracks.

The show is set for 8 p.m. Saturday night. Special guests include Fifth Hour, The Phoenix Philosophy and Venus On Fire.
