Edina Police Increase Patrol After String Of Burglaries

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Edina Police have extra patrols out following a string of burglaries that occurred last week.

Police said three burglaries have taken place since Tuesday, May 27.

Two happened during the day on Tuesday, and the third happened early Wednesday morning.

Police said in all three crimes burglars forced their way in through the front door.

The Edina Police Department is reminding residents to keep doors to the home and garage closed and locked.

Police are increasing their patrol of the two areas where the crimes took place with marked and unmarked cars.

Any residents with information are asked to call 911.
