APPLE VALLEY, Minn. (WCCO) – A teen from Eastview High School in Apple Valley, Minn. worked his way to the highest honor in scouts Saturday.

Along with some volunteers, Garrett McKay cleaned some of the headstones at Ft. Snelling Cemetery.

This was McKay’s last task he had to complete to become an Eagle Scout.

Photojournalist Tony Peterson joined him while he completed his goal.
