Pedestrian Killed By Truck In Long Lake ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities identified the 78-year-old man who died Friday afternoon in an accident in Long Lake, Minn.

James Thomas Parry, 82, died after being struck by a pickup truck.

According to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred at 2:56 p.m. at Brown Road and Wayzata Boulevard.

Witnesses told police that Parry ran into the street in front of the truck.

Parry was was transported by helicopter to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
