Stretch Of I-35E Closed From Little Canada To St. Paul
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A busy stretch of interstate in the east metro is closed this weekend as crews take down a couple of bridges.
I-35E between I-94 in downtown St. Paul, Minn. and Highway 36 in Little Canada, Minn. closed Friday evening and will reopen Monday.
Crews are tearing down the Larpenteur Avenue and Gateway State Trail bridges.
It's part of a project to replace bridges and add a MnPASS lane.
Road work should be done by 5 a.m. Monday.
