Police: Man Arrested In Minneapolis Hit-And-Run

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police said a man was arrested early Sunday morning in connection with a hit-and-run crash in downtown Minneapolis.

Police were called to a crash involving two vehicles at about 3:47 a.m. near the area of Chicago Ave. and S. Washington Avenue. When officers arrived, the driver of one of the cars had fled the scene. The victim in the crash suffered minor injuries.

The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Gabriel Harris-Brown, was located by police a short time later and arrested. It is believed Harris-Brown had been drinking before the crash. He was arrested and booked into the Hennepin County Jail on suspicion of DWI and hit-and-run.
