Video: Mudslide Nearly Catches Driver Near Belle Plaine

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A motorist nearly fell into a gaping hole Thursday on a southern Minnesota road after the ground beneath it gave way.

The incident was caught on dash camera, and uploaded Friday to YouTube by the Department of Public Safety.

The video shows a car approaching in the rain on Highway 25 just north of Belle Plaine, and it slows down just as a cross-section of the road gives way.
