MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities are looking for at least one suspect after a fight turned deadly in north Minneapolis Monday night.

Police were called at about 10:47 p.m. on a report of a fight in the street on the 3300 block of Penn Avenue North. While officers were on the way to the scene, a report of shots fired came in. When officers arrived, they found and adult male in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to North Memorial Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The victim has not been identified.

Police said there are no suspects in custody at this time and the incident does not appear to be random. Anyone with information is asked to call Minneapolis Police at (612) 692-8477.
