2 Hurt After Motorcycle Hits Deer In Stearns County

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 42-year-old St. Cloud woman was taken to a hospital Saturday night after the motorcycle she was riding hit a deer, according to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers were called at about 9:29 p.m. to a motorcycle accident on County Road 75 near 19th Avenue East in Lynden Township. When authorities arrived, they located a motorcycle that had been traveling westbound on County Road 75 when it hit a deer. The driver, a 53-year-old man from Rice, Minn., had minor injuries at the scene.

The woman was taken to St. Cloud hospital to be treated for minor injuries, authorities said.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office said what led up to the accident is still under investigation.
