Officials: Man, 22, Arrested Following Bank Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in northern Minnesota say they arrested a 22-year-old man Thursday in connection to a bank robbery.
The Carlton County Sheriff's Office says the robbery happened just after 3:30 p.m. at the Northview Bank in Barnum, Minn.
It was reported that a man walked into the bank, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the teller.
Authorities from multiple departments responded, and they arrested the 22-year-old man shortly after.
The suspect's name has not been released. He is being held at the Carlton County Jail, pending formal charges.
