DNR To Life Ban On Night Fishing At Mille Lacs Lake
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Night fishing is returning to one of Minnesota's most popular lakes.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will lift the ban on fishing at night on Mille Lacs Lake next Monday.
The department says there have been so few anglers fishing the lake this summer that the annual harvest quota won't likely be reached.
Resort owners say other laws, like the two-walleye limit, have kept anglers away from Mille Lacs altogether.
