MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The price of back to school shopping is rising.
According to a new survey, parents will spend an average of $669 and 28 cents on clothes, shoes, supplies and electronics.
That’s up about 5 percent from last year.
And when you break down those costs by grade, high schoolers will cost you the most.
The average cost for a student in high school is right around $683.
A middle schooler will cost you just over $682.
And if you’ve got an elementary aged student, you’ll pay about $581.
